Hi Resident

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

High-Visibility Patrols: Our officers have been conducting regular high-vis patrols in open spaces, particularly during the evenings and at night, to provide reassurance and deter crime.

Engagement with the Community: PCSOs have been speaking with residents and local businesses to gather feedback and intelligence on areas of concern.

Targeted Patrols around Transport Hubs: We’ve increased our presence around transport hubs to support those travelling alone, specifically Hanwell & West Ealing train stations.

School and Youth Engagement: Officers patrol after-school to raise awareness and encourage reporting of concerns.

Cuppa with Copper VAWG related planned for 12th February 2026 between 10am and 11am at Clocktower café based at 151 Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, W73SP.
